Tito Jiménez Rufino is widely considered one of the most skilled independent producers in the Piura region. He is the guardian of the Piura Blanco, an ultra-rare albino cacao bean that is almost completely white inside.
Far from the rainforest, in the sun-drenched coastal desert of Chulucanas, Tito produces a cacao that defies logic. This is the home of the Piura Blanco—a rare albino bean that is as white as the sand it grows in.
