Cacao is Farmed by Noe Vasquez and his family in Cajamaraca, Marañon, Peru.
The 2024 version of the Yuzu bar now features our multi-award-winning Marañon 72% and the addition of a very delicate inclusion - Freeze dried yuzu juice flakes. We made these decisions based on wanting to represent the yuzu fruit better as a whole, because we felt that our original bar was missing that sharp, distinctive yuzu flavour.
It has taken a while to find the sweet spot with what origin to work with and how to best incorporate the yuzu without distorting the balance, but I'm glad to say we have finally done it.
As always, thanks go to Neville and Junk Chun from NZYuzu for working closely with us to bring you the best Yuzu possible. They are organically grown in their beautiful orchard in Levin. Received whole and fresh for us to work with typically around May each year.
