Origin: Peru, Amazona’s department, Awajún Community, nestled within the vast rainforests of the Amazona’s region in Northern Peru, dwell the indigenous Awajun communities. Secluded from the modern world and using traditional farming practices, they produce some of the world's finest organic cacao. Their operation is symbiotic with the rainforest, and its unique biodiversity gives the cacao its distinctive flavour.

Genetics: Mostly unclassified native varieties, Different types of Criollo, a small amount of Trinitario Fermentation: 4 Day fermentation in the village of Utt. Fermented in sweet Tornillo wooden crates covered with banana leaves. The beans are then dried in the same village.
